The Toucan 10E, an electrically powered mast – style boom lift with a 10 m working height and a go everywhere capability on finished surfaces, brings productivity together with ease of maintenance and use through innovative features. 
  
Includes increased gradeability and ground clearance to make it easier to transport, improved the drive system to make it more efficient and advanced onboard diagnostic tools (ADE) to make fleet management easier as well.

Direct Electric Drive
One of the major product enhancements is the direct electric AC drive with noticeably cleaner and quieter operation. The Toucan 10E is equipped with two brushless AC motors. It delivers exceptional efficiency during the job and as well as a faster drive speed (5.5 km/h). In addition, because recharging can be done more quickly the Toucan 10E provides excellent performance during the full shift.
 
The onboard diagnostics advanced design electronics (ADE) control system provide smoother machine control.  The new 10E model features an LCD display as standard to enhance troubleshooting capabilities and allow owners to manage their fleet more easily and efficiently.
 
Easier to Use
Enhanced proportional drive and lift controls provide easier and smoother operation.  A new platform, a new jib and the extended outreach make manoeuvring the machine in tight spaces easier.  The Toucan 10E is extremely versatile in a number of applications as it is rated for unrestricted capacity of 200 kg (2 persons) both indoors and outdoors.
 
Easier to Transport
Transporting the product around the jobsite or from one location to another has become far easier due to increased gradeability of 25 percent and improved ground clearance of 10.5 cm.  The overall machine weight has also been reduced to less than 3000 kg while maintaining the same general dimensions.
 
Easier to Maintain
JLG’s engineering team has simplified the hydraulic system to reduce lifecycle costs and simplify maintenance.  Potential leak points have been reduced by 75 percent with only six hydraulic hoses throughout the entire machine.  The Toucan features that have traditionally made this product low maintenance remain:  a heavy duty, jam free forklift style mast and the centralised battery feeding.
